We ask questions first and encourage learners to do the same.
About Us
SPACE 1 exists to make serious space education and research available to more people, and to do it openly and honestly.
About Us
SPACE 1 is a Centre for Space Studies & Research. We combine three things that rarely sit together: structured education, hands-on research and public experiences.
Space is now an economy, a science and a shared environment all at once. We train people to work in it, study it responsibly and help everyone understand it.
About Us
Our vision is a world that understands space and builds responsibly beyond Earth. Our mission is to teach, discover and inspire. These values guide how we do it.
We ask questions first and encourage learners to do the same.
Teaching and research are checked against evidence and open to review.
Talent is everywhere. Scholarships and school programmes widen the door.
We publish methods and results where we can and say clearly when we cannot.
Space is shared. We teach sustainability and safe, lawful practice.
The hardest problems are solved by universities, industry and communities together.
About Us
“Every person who has looked up at a clear night sky has asked the same thing: what is out there, and could we go? SPACE 1 is my answer to that question. It begins with teaching, because understanding comes first. It grows into research and a place where anyone can stand under the stars and feel the scale of it.”
I invite you to learn with us, to question us and to help build this from the first day.
About Us
SPACE 1 grows in stages, and each stage is released only when it is ready to be done properly.
The Learning Academy opens with SPACE 1 certificates of completion, public sky nights and an online knowledge hub.
Research programmes begin with university and institutional partners. Student research projects and innovation challenges start.
The Cosmic Experience Centre opens its first digital planetarium and simulator spaces for the public and for schools.
A full university and cosmic experience campus brings teaching, laboratories and public experiences together.
About Us

About Us
We state what we offer. We never imply accreditation, academic credit or endorsement from NASA, a university or any institution unless that arrangement is formally authorised.
Assessments, grading and certificate rules are published and applied equally to every learner.
We will publish an annual report covering income, spending and the share going to scholarships.
Programmes for children and young people follow a written safeguarding policy with trained staff.
We collect only what we need, never sell personal data, and explain how it is used.
Where possible, methods and datasets are published for others to check and reuse.
About Us
